River To River Relay 2009 Update:

Fortunately, this year we were able to get 3 teams in for the River
To River Relay. The race will take place on April, 18th 2009. Yes,
the same weekend as St Louis half/full marathon and Boston marathon.

Some of you might be wondering what is the River To River Relay?
Well, it is a 80 mile relay that takes place in southern Illinois.
The relay consists of 8 runners and 2 alternates if needed/wanted.
Each runner will run 3 legs of approximately 3 miles on VERY LARGE
HILLS. Here is the website for more information:

So,what we need right now is to find out who is really interested in
participating in this race. We must know by Friday if we can fill 3
teams or not. Those who are interested, please email David with just

Next week we will follow up with another email to those that have
showed interest. This email will explain registration & fees. Also,
if anyone would like to be a driver at the relay please email me for
more information. If anyone has any questions regarding River To
