Just in case there is any confusion, all of the runs and other Belleville Running Club info (files, links, calendar, etc) are posted on the Belleville Running Club Yahoo Group ( http://sports.groups.yahoo.com/group/BellevilleRunningClub/). If you did not receive an e-mail from BellevilleRunningClub@yahoogroups.com, then you are not currently a member of the BRC Yahoo Group.
A Yahoo! Group is any group — your family, friends you see every summer, business associates, your book group, etc. — that uses Yahoo! Groups to privately share info, images, ideas and more — on the web. It's free, secure and spam-protected.
How much does it cost?
Joining the BRC Yahoo Group costs nothing. If you don't already have one, you will have to create a Yahoo ID. This also does not cost anything.
If I don't joing the BRC Yahoo Group, will I still get e-mails letting me know about the runs?
Yes, I will continue to forward select BRC Yahoo Group e-mails to a list of e-mail addresses I have amassed over the last couple of years. However, I usually only forward the weekly run postings. There is plenty of other chatter on the Yahoo Group about other topics (upcoming races, other events, etc). The only way to stay current on everything is to join the Yahoo Group.
Does the Belleville Running Club have any other presence on the web?
Yes. We have a website (www.bellevillerunningclub.com) a blog (www.bellevillerunningclub.blogspot.com) a group on www.facebook.com and a group on www.mapmyrun.com, but currently the best source of info is the Yahoo Group.
